One heck of a refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a new refrigerator really bad. My other quit on me after 15 yrs. I looked at about 6 stores for a new one. The last store we stopped at I saw this one and fell in love with it. Had to have it. After I had it home, I showed my neighbor next door. He told me Frigidaire is a great product. He installs Frigidaire heat/air conditioning units in houses. I was relieved that I purchased a great product.

A steady decline in functionality

First NEW refrigerator our family purchased - all previous were included with house or purchased 2nd- hand. Immediately upon delivery, fridge motor was surprisingly loud... but we shrugged and forced ourselves to get used to it. Now 4 years after purchase, I've already replaced the side door racks once, and now the shelves are falling apart. Beyond frustrated, and now it appears I can't even get replacement shelves or racks anymore? Not surprised it's been discontinued. We've never had any temperature or cooling issues at least - which gives it an additional star from the 1 star it deserves.
I've had excellent Frigidaire products in the past - I have to think this is a fluke?

I am enjoying this refrigerator. I love it, it has the space i wanted a new refrigerator with adequate space and it is has not let me down. very good purchase and the price was unbelievable.
