Was surprised how loud it is.

I am very unhappy with this appliance. The freezer door has to be pushed closed each time I use it. When I shut the refrigerator section, the freezer door pops open on its own. The repair man worked on it to make the hinge work better, but it isn't right. The freezer door still pops open every time I close the bottom door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tough Guy, thank you for your review. It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Closing a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open. Please contact us directly at 1-800-374-4432 if you should have any other questions. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the humidity controls on the drawers, keeps a great cold temperature in both fridge & freezer, (no light ) I looked at so many models that I "thought this one was the no smudge" it's NOT! after some research on how to "keep" it smudge free, not that big of a deal, but everything else is great...have only had it 3 months

Solid Appliance

Purchased about a month ago to replace a much older model. It is not our main refrigerator, but a second and is located in the basement on the other side of the wall from the finished area. Temperature of both freezer and fridge have been consistent, working perfectly. The door to where the refrigerator is located is often open and I notice the unit does not run a lot nor is it too loud. Glass shelves are a great feature. The door shelves are average, bottles on the door do not always stay upright due to the use of a bar rather than a full enclosure. This unit was great for the price considering what it would be used for.
I would recommend this to a friend!
