[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does not cool properly, not good quality and will only work if temperature is above 55 degrees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yikes! Bob42, I regret that you are not happy with your refrigerator’s performance. If your refrigerator is located where the temperature gets below 55°F, please adjust the freezer control to the coldest setting to improve performance. However, sustained exposure to ambient temperatures below 39°F will likely result in freezing of food and beverages stored in the refrigeration section. Should you have any questions, please reconnect with us directly by calling Mon-Fri, 8a-8p or Saturday 9a-6p EST @ 877-435-3287. We are here for you. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator based on it being made in America and the pricing at the time. Once the first refrigerator was delivered, there were dents in it and so a replacement refrigerator was ordered. When the 2nd one arrived, the internal stripping was no attached at bottom of door, I took it as is and was rewarded with $100. The refrigerator is quite noisy and the door shelves are not the best, as items have fallen through the gap between the shelf and the retaining part of the shelf. Everything else seems to be working fine. Except, don't advertise made in America and the tag inside the refrigerator says made in Mexico. I was disappointed with that.

Thank you for sharing your refrigerator experience, jmm88. I regret that you are not happy with some of the features of your refrigerator. If the gasket has pulled out of the channel: clean the gasket with a wet soapy cloth, then rinse and dry. Feed the gasket back into the retaining channel, ensuring that the gasket is secure all around the door. If the gasket is fully seated, but still doesn’t seal completely, use a hair dryer to heat the gasket while the door is closed. Be very careful not to damage the interior door panel or gasket by applying too much heat. A faulty gasket can make your refrigerator run for longer periods of time, and effect energy efficiency. Page 19 in your Owner’s Manual addresses the normal operating sounds your refrigerator will exhibit. Our appliances that feature the “Built with American Pride” symbol, are designed, engineered and assembled in the U.S.A. If you have any questions about your refrigerator, we would love to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to reconnect with us directly by calling Mon-Fri, 8a-8p or Saturday 9a-6p EST @ 877-435-3287. Bottles fall out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottles and cans slide out from the bottom of the bottle and can holders on the door. You should have the base piece that the bottles sit on come out to the wraparound band; they are somewhat recessed thereby causing the bottle to slip through. I have added a piece of cardboard to the base piece so it comes out to the arm that holds the bottles against the back wall. That helps but I'd say poor construction on the refrigerator.

It's OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had for a month. No shelves slide which means I bump my head on freezer door a lot trying to get to the back of the shelves. Finding it very difficult to get freezer and fridge temperature set. To get freezer low enough, the fridge part freezes items (even eggs on top shelf froze) If I set temp so meat and veggie drawers don't freeze, the top shelf is too high temperature. Magnetic seal pulls away from the door leaving a gap between the door and the seal. I had to purchase this model because of limited fixed income. I had to purchase a new refrigerator due to failure of the one I had.

Hi Jimmy, thank you for taking the time to share your review with us regarding your refrigerator. I would recommend adjusting the temperature gradually. Adjusting the control in small increments, allowing the temperature to stabilize. Also, let's do a simple inspection of your gasket. Simply slip a sheet of paper or a dollar bill between the door edge and the freezer edge, then close the door. If you can move the paper or dollar bill easily out of the door, this is another indication that your gasket is not sealing properly. Hope this helps! -Jennifer
