High quality appliance

Had to replace a perfectly good dryer because my old washer died and we needed stacked appliances. We chose Electrolux because our fridge is that brand and we are impressed with the quality of the product.
This dryer has endless features including steam and dries the clothes virtually wrinkle free. I like the fine mesh lint trap. When I clean off the lint, it doesn't fly everywhere making a dusty mess. I noticed as well that the outdoor vent does not collect large blobs of lint on the louvers.
Overall, another quality Electrolux product.

Bought this about 3 months ago and it needed a repair. Electrolux stood behind there product and send out a repairmen for service, but it makes you wonder about the longevity of this appliance. I know they just don't build them like they use to, but when your dropping big money for these appliances the hope is you will get some good life out of them. My last washer & dryer lasted 24 years with some minor repairs in that time. The repairman said I would be luck to get 8 years out of any current appliance. THAT IS A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR ALL APPLIANCE MANUFACTURERS.
As for the Dryer, the specialty cycles don't seem to dry as well as the regular timed cycle. You get all of these added features and they don't really seem to work great except for I'm guessing the government mandated energy efficiency rating. However, if the specialty cycles don't really do the job and you have to dry everything again shouldn't that impact energy efficiency ratings.
We do like the dryer even with these few observations. It looks nice and does the job.

The clothes come out clean and washer is fairly quiet. I have not used many features but for standard clothes washing it has been fine the first few months of use.

I purchased this 2 months ago for my new townhouse, which has a smaller sized laundry space/closet. on the 2nd floor. Stackable W/D was ideal, and I needed both doors to open to the right. I also needed a quiet spin because it was not going to be placed on the ground floor - all of that with their elaborate features made this set perfect!!!
Electrolux models had it all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new dryer. I've had it a couple months and have no regrets. I love that there are so many options to choose from, I can dry small loads, large loads and not worry about damaging any fabrics.
