Bought this dryer for the steam option feature- seems to be working well to date. One issue with the rubber seal that goes around the drum separating in the front. Service tech came to our house and fixed; waiting to see if it holds. The lint collector has a spot where lint gets stuck- you will find yourself pulling it out with your fingers-design could use improvement; never had that issue with other dryers in the past.

Needs repair

I bought this dryer earlier in the year and I love features of the dryer. The LED Screen went crazy and now we are waiting for repair.

I love my new dryer!

I bought this about two months ago and couldn't be happier. A friend of mine has Electrolux and when I saw hers I just loved the way it looked and how quiet it was. My dryer went out and I purchased this to replace it and I am so happy I did. I will be buying the matching washer very soon.
My laundry room is right next to my three year olds bedroom so the level of noise was important to me, I was very impressed with the noise level being so minimal. The amount of laundry I do for a family of five is rather substantial and this accommodates our needs.

Like the steam feature

Works well, great options but find it quite loud when running (as loud as my 13 years old dryer I had before) - Also, not crazy about the lint screen design : lint gets stuck beyond the screen and it is hard to reach to remove it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Design Engineering Review - Possible Improvements

1. I would like to set the air temperature and the dryness level manually and independently in the "NORMAL" and "MIXED LOAD" mode.
2. The lint gets caught in the square holes on the topside of the grill in which the fine screen lint catcher is inserted. There are two levels of these grill and it is difficult to clean the lower level. Is it possible to make that part removable without undoing screws so as to make cleaning it easier?
3. The door release latch is very sensitive and sometimes the door opens if I brush the door while walking past the dryer. Also locking the door is a delicate operation; the door has to be shut very gently, or it will bounce back open. Can this be improved?
4. The volume of 8 cu.ft. wants me to put two sets of king/queen bed sheets-pillow cases for drying. Sometimes pillow cases and sheets are rolled inside sheets and are not dry. The dryness sensor most likely is monitoring the exhaust air. Is it possible to reverse the drum rotation (as in front load washers) to unwrap sheets etc.. during the drying cycle? I understand this will add cost and complexity. But this feature may increase load size and hence promote less usage and savings.
