We bought this a year ago and love the features and the time it takes to wash and the low noise level. However, a big problem is that water tends to remain in the rubber lining at the door and starts to build mold. Now, we wipe it down after every wash and leave the door open when its not in use. Otherwise it starts to make the wash smell bad. I think this is a defect in the design and is a BIG problem. Hope the newer models have taken care of this issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Casper! Your front load washer will require cleaning not normally performed with a top load washer. Cleaning procedures can be found under the Care and Cleaning section of your owner’s manual on pages 17-20. We do recommend to help prevent odors, mold or mildew, leave the door open for a few hours after use or whenever the washer is not in use. Of course, we advise not to leave the door open if there are small children or pets present. For a more thorough cleaning please ensure the wash tub is empty (or no clothes load). Open the detergent drawer and pour eight (8) cups of bleach into the detergent compartment. Select clean washer cycle. For especially contaminated areas visible inside the drum (including the front rubber seal), these areas might be more effectively cleaned by spraying a Bleach Cleaner on a scrub brush, soft sponge, or towel and scrubbing. Additional cleaning procedures can be found under the Care and Cleaning section of your owner’s manual on pages 17-20. Works great, much quieter

I am very happy with this machine now, but when delivered it did not work. It displayed error code on LED window and would not run. Called service, they replaced a computer board and now it works fine. Other than that mishap, runs and works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
