Have concerns!

We bought this front-load washer on March 25, 2016 based totally on our positive experience with the Frigidaire Model ATF700ES1 purchased in 2006, which we owned and used daily for 10 years. Totally loved the 2006 model.....but am not at all impressed with the 'so-called replacement' for that model. In our opinion, it is dramatically inferior to the earlier product; WAY MORE NOISY, door lock WAY TOO SENSITIVE, doesn't clean the clothes as well as the earlier version (seems too little water moving around to clean well), bleach dispenser is useless in our opinion....and would be too costly to continue using based on the cost to replace clothes ruined by using it...doesn't dispense appropriately (dispenses part of the bleach, but doesn't empty and leaves bleach to be dispensed in the next load which doesn't work well when washing colored clothes or towels.....we found this out first hand when washing a load after using bleach in prior load...next load came out with items 'bleach stained'....). It messed up over $300.00 of items.
Also, a bit concerning, we have needed a repair on the item already: it was installed on 3/25/2016, stopped working on 4/05/2016, spoke with Frigidaire on 4/05/2016 and repair order issued, reference #803749, needed door latch assembly replaced.
Worried about what the future holds with this item! We have recommended Frigidaire to people for 20 years....but question if that will continue. Although currently every appliance in our home is Frigidaire, not sure about the next replacement product we have to buy! We own a Frigidaire top of the line 5 burner gas/electric range with a side range, washer, dryer, freezer, dishwasher and three air conditioners.
Wish the new washer was as good as the old! It would have been much easier to respond to your email. However, we feel as though your company needs feedback from consumers such as ourselves for your future product line information.
Just as a side note: I was very impressed with your customer service department when I spoke with Katie on April 5th concerning the problem with the washer. She was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in her instructions as to what to 'try' to resolve the issue and how to proceed ahead with the repair company for the warranty repair. We will take this into account when making the next major appliance purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With 3 sons, I really like the sanitize cycle. It did a great job of getting some things deep cleaned that my old machine couldn't.
