Rubber smell

i bought this 3 weeks ago and love it except for that smell that seems to be "normal" and will wear off in time according to all the research i have done.

Hey Yantis, our records indicate you have spoken to one of our agents concerning this recently. I was wondering if anyone told you that there are 2 house fuses in the dryer circuit. If 1 of the 2 fuses is blown, the drum may turn but the heater will not operate. If you haven’t already, please reset the circuit breaker by turning it off for 3 minutes, and then reapply the power. Double check that your electrical line is not overloaded, and the dryer is on its own separate circuit. Please don’t hesitate to reconnect with us if you have any questions at 877-435-3287. Great for us 80 year olds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In contrast to current standard-sized washers & dryers, this fit beautifully in our laundry space (built in 1971 to fit then-current standard-sized machines) and its capacity is more than adequate for us. I enjoy folding laundry on our pairs nice tops. I'm still learning what cycles to use for which loads and how to simply turn it off when a load is dry much earlier than the automatic time.

Perfect Fit For Small Spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a Electrolux stackable washer and dryer set for our home because we needed quality appliances that would fit in a small area. Bonus that the dryer is ventless condenser dryer. Unfortunately, the dryer stopped heating to dry our clothes after about ten uses. Electrolux authorized a service company to repair the dryer quickly. So far, no more problems with the heater/thermal breaker fuse. We are concerned that the heater/thermal breaker may fail again. The warranty should be longer.

Takes forever to dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dryer for one year and have had a service tech out because I don't think it dries we'll. He couldn't find anything wrong with it and reviewed the drying options. I've used the drying options he showed me and it still takes hours to dry three pair of jeans. My ladies underwear doesn't dry in 50 minutes. I'm not happy with the lenght of time things take to dry. I end up hanging things to dry. Laundry day is a very long day! Wet clothes pile up waiting to get in the dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review, Quilter10. I certainly understand how frustrating it can be for laundry day taking longer than expected. I am happy to assist you with your concern.
I recommend cleaning your lint filter with hot soapy water to remove any Fabric Detergent or Softener films that could decrease airflow. I would also double check your exhaust vent to make sure the excess heat is routing out of your home properly. Lastly, I would make sure your dryer is not overloaded as this will also decrease airflow.
