Happy, overall

I was warned that condenser dryers are slow, compared to vented dryers. And it does take longer. But, with time and patience, it gets heavy towels and cotton blankets bone dry. It seems kinder to clothes and delicates. I like all the cycle choices, the lighted drum, and the pull-out shelf in the stacking kit. And the size is perfect for our tiny space.

Awful smell!

We purchased this dryer in September 2015, and immediately noticed a strong odor of hot rubber. As it is ventless, the smell quickly permeated the entire house-you can smell it all the way up to the 3rd floor. A technician has checked the dryer recently, swears there's nothing wrong with it, and claims the factory advised that the smell just has to "wear off." We do 7 loads of wash, on average, each week. It is now December, and we still must open doors to the outside to air out the kitchen when we dry clothes. Wouldn't really mind the longer drying time, if it didn't make the whole house reek of hot rubber:(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Avoid this piece of junk

This dryer stopped drying and started displaying error code E60 after six months. It's still under warranty but it is still broken over a month later, despite multiple days off from work to wait for repairmen and at least five calls to Electrolux. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced and we will never buy another Electrolux appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's so silent... impressive. Works fine. No troubles so far.
At the end of each use, it collects water into a drawer, placed where you usually put detergen in a Washer.

I've had this dryer with matching washer for 6 months and love it! It's very efficient, the reverse drying leaves clothes untangled and I wrinkled. Highly recommend!

Love this washer/dryer

It is quiet, has really excellent features, and holds a surprising amount of laundry. The lighted interior is great. The short "touch up cycle" is useful. I would recommend using "less dry" cycles as more dry results in clothing that is too hot to even pull out of the dryer.
Installation was a hassle, but I think that was more a function of the installer than Electrolux (they installed the drain kit incorrectly). I would definitely buy it again, but keep in mind as a ventless dryer, it sends warm air into the home, meaning that the laundry area gets quite warm, which is a minus in the summer. It will be a plus in the winter! Additionally, like other small frontloaders that can fit under a counter or in a closet, be prepared for the price--however, I thought it was well priced compared to other European brands.

Effective, quiet, and convenient!

I spent a long time researching ventless dryers and this one kept coming up as the best worker for the money. So far (two months in, doing 2-3 loads of laundry every week) it is fantastic. It operates quietly, it dries effectively, and looks great!

Great Concept - Operational Issues

I bought the compact dryer and washer together. Washing machine is great in every way. The dryer seems to have issues - not sure if they are design flaws, or the machine is damaged and not working properly, There is a loud screeching noise that begins about 30 minutes into any drying cycle and doesn't stop until the cycle ends. Drives me out of the kitchen. Not getting much help from Electrolux support folks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
