Not happy

Had for 3 months and have had repair person out twice. Works on "Timed cycle" only. Definitely do not like ventless feature. On a hot day, the air conditioner has to work twice as hard to keep up. Not sure why it's called ventless because it's vented out the front.

I have had this dryer for two months and really enjoy it. It fits nicely in the small laundry room (closet) in my condo. It is quality through and through. I was sceptical if the ventless feature and if it would take more time to day the clothing. If indeed it does take longer, it is not much. I do not notice the difference. If you have limited space, I would highly recommend this dryer.

Maybe not the best choice in a warm climate

Unit seems to work as advertised - takes a bit longer to dry clothes than you may be accustomed to, and they get very, very hot. But the reversing feature is a real plus - keeps clothes from getting balled up like in our old dryer. And absolutely get the condensate drain kit - very handy. But be aware that while the unit is "ventless," it still pumps substantial heat into the room. Imagine the output of hot air from the external vent of a normal dryer the dryer - that is what this dryer blows into the room. The air is dry, of course (not humid like out of a normal vented dryer), but it is still very hot. In winter this could be a boon - no need to run the furnace on laundry day. But in summer, or any time you don't want the room heated up to almost 90 degrees (literally), you will use huge amounts of energy to power your A/C to overcome the hot air being pumped out by this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a compact washer and dryer for my kitchen. I did a lot of searching of different brands and models before deciding on this one. I'm very happy with it. Works great fits more than expected. Didn't have any problem with the start pause switch at all.

Disturbing noise
on September 23, 2015

Bought the dryer expecting a machine quiet enough for the kitchen. However, after 30mins of drying, a fan kicks in that produces a high pitched noise, loud enough to make the stay in the kitchen unpleasant. 4 service techs later, we have been given confirmation that this noise is normal.

Love it, except for the problem with the door....

I've had this dryer for just under a year. I love it: quiet, lots of cycles, small capacity but that's good for us, option to NOT vent it outside allowed me to place it just where I wanted it. Only downside feature-wise is no independent wrinkle release cycle (that I can figure out, at least).
However, about a month ago one of the screws holding the door on came loose. After struggling for a month to get someone to fix it (during which time the door finally came completely off the machine), a repairman finally reattached it today (repair guy believes the retailer who swapped the position of the door for me used the wrong screws and didn't "lock" the door onto the machine).
My experience with the Electrolux service reps on the phone was very good - they're wonderful. The company's choice of retailers and repair people leaves a little to be desired. Be careful where you buy this machine and who you use to fix it.
I immediately called my retailer (twice) who did nothing. I then called Electrolux

Mine came without the drain kit, so that the water from the drying cloths accumulated in the reservoir on the time and had to be manually carried to the sink. I called electrolux and they sent me a drain kit, and I cajoled the Sears installer to return to install it.. Now it drains into the same drain as the washing machine. Still trying to learn the features. A little hard to restart when paused in the the cycle, as the start/pause bottle is not easy to use. Otherwise, it seems to do a good job and I recommend it.
