Very Basic

This washer is not one I personally picked out its what the option was with my mobile home purchase. I despise the locking lid. I will hit the pause button to add or adjust something and sometimes it won't unlock I will have to unplug it. I do not like that the water doesn't dispense until lid is shut so clothes are thrown on top of soap. Also there is not just a spin option for items that may be still too wet, just a rinse and spin so it adds more water. I do like the pre soak option for those set in stains. It does the job well but definitely not a purchase I would've made if I had been giving more options or were actually shopping around.

Hey Sbonefas, I am sorry that the locking lid feature can be inconvenient, especially when you just need to add an item or adjust something. The locking lid was added for safety reasons and can take a moment or two to release. I would be happy to pass on your recommendation, about having a spin only option, to our design team for future products. I would not purchase this washer

I have to use this because it is in the apartment that I'm renting and it can't be moved per rental agreement. You can't choose wash times. It washes entirely too long to have a productive laundry day. You can't just set it to spin or rinse. It doesn't dash if the lid is open. I like to see how much detergent is on my laundry

I got this washer from builder when I bought the house. It makes very loud noise when it spin. I never heard any noise like that from any washers before

terrible washer

Came with the house I got a couple months ago. Glad I didn't not have to purchase it. Wouldn't recommend it. Can't spin dry your clothes, the washer stops during the wash cycle, and the locking lid sucks. I to am going to have to spend my only day off during the week at the laundry mat. I know people with washers/dryers darn near 20 that still work and are better than this.

Stuckstang, I am sorry to hear about your recent experiences with the washer. For not spinning I have a few things to check before contacting us for assistance. Is the cycle set to spin and the water does not pump out? If so, does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, it could be a restriction in the drain line. If not it could be the pump or timer. With the washer stopping during the cycle, may be the timer is at fault. The locking lid was added for safety reasons and can take a moment or two to release. I hope this helped! Warm regards, Ruth

Terrible Washing Machine

I purchased a home in Jan 2016 and had the washer and dryer come with it. In June it just quit, like it had no power going to it. After about 3 wks a repair man came and replaced a part on it and got it running but then there were other issues. So he replaced the other parts and still shuts off during cycle and the drum beats the washer to death and makes the worst noise. So I am 2 months in and still no working washing machine. I do not recommend this washer or Frigidaire!

Your washer is equipped with a wash sensor that determines how heavy the wash load is to dispense the correct amount of water & determine how long the cycle needs to completely wash your load.
