Pro: It senses the water level which is cool Cons: Long cycles, destroys sheets and bedding, noisy, has required 2 warranty repairs.
I generally don't give bad reviews, but this machine is a loser.

Hey Houstonian! For best washing performance, your dry load level should not be higher than the upper row of holes in your wash tub. I would also suggest combining large and small items in a load. Load your large items first. Large items should not be more than half the total wash load. I would also recommend to double check that your clothing items are prepared for washing by emptying pockets, brushing off lint and dirt, closing zippers, fastening hooks, tying strings and sashes, and removing non-washable trims and ornaments. If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us directly. -Kind Regards, Theresa

I'm torn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into a new build and this was selected for us. Overall it is great but there is one huge issue. It keeps ripping up clothes. So far a new set of sheets and a blouse have been ruined. Keeping our fingers crossed it stops and it was a fluke.

Bdal, oh no! I can understand your frustration with the matter. I have a couple of questions to help with diagnosing what is happening. Are items getting stuck under the agitator? Are you washing other items with the bedding (my washer puts holes in my blouses if I wash anything with a zipper in the same load)? Could the load be too large to have enough agitating room? One thing to try, take an old pair of panty hose and rub it all over the inside of the washer to check for anything that can snag your laundry. If you still have questions after this, please reach out to us directly for assistance. Warm wishes, Ruth

Takes too long to wash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer came with the new house. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a way to regulate the wash cycle. It takes way too long to do one wash.

TexasOne, I am sorry to hear about your long cycle times. The newer washers are designed to use less water and will have longer cycle times to save on energy and water. You also have a variation in the time depending on which cycle you choose, the load capacity and if you add extra rinse cycle to your wash cycle to name a few. A casual internet search shows times that range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes for a large load on cotton with cold water. Is your timer (control) advancing to the next step? If you have any questions, please reconnect with us directly for assistance. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

Glad it came with the house

Washer came with my new home. I would never purchase it on my own. It takes too long to wash clothes and doesn't have a way to go on to other parts of the cycle. It gives off balance notices even when only 3 items are in it and it isn't unbalanced.

Makes washing a dreadful chore

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The builder put this washer in our recently-purchased new home. We didn't buy it or choose it. It goes out of balance and stops on almost every load, even when we have distributed the items in the tub as evenly as possible. Even after multiple tries to correct the problem, some loads just won't spin. We're not overloading the machine. We've checked to make sure that it's level and followed all the other related troubleshooting tips in the owner's guide. I haven't yet called Frigidaire for service. Also, the clothes end up more twisted than in any other washer I've owned, and when we dry them after this wash we're losing way more fiber to lint. (I think that's because the clothes get beat up in the wash.) This washer doesn't have some features I would require in a purchase we made, but we were planning to make the best of it. So far, it's a nightmare.
