This washer is horrible. Gets off balance too easy. ot able to was bulky items or a full load. Did not purchase this item it was included in the purchase of our new home

Replacement works

Poorly Made parts of this machine!

Washer is 2 yrs old and sprung a huge leak underneath because the hose that goes from the tub to the pump was sliced open from the plastic outlet this covers...this is the second appliance that is only 2 yrs old that I own that has given me problems.

I can't stand everything about this washer. If I'd only read the reviews before selecting this as an addition to my home. My builder should be ashamed for choosing such a cheap and inefficient product. The machine is always off balanced; the drum seems to be separated from the machine at all times; it's extremely loud; this poor thing takes hours to complete a load (definitely no energy saver); I could load the right amount of clothes and detergent in here and the machine will stop, causing me to constantly reset it. All I want to do is get this thing out of my house. I surely downgraded when I decided to finance this with my house. I see comments where people are saying they didn't purchase this and it came with the house- on the contrary- you definitely purchased anything that came with the house and probably paid more because of the markups. I'll call for service but I'm 1000% sure they already know they are servicing a lemon. I'm pretty sure this is the reason why many websites are saying this is disconnected. Do better Frigidaire! I'll do my part by going back to the brands I know and trust so well (I'll spare the names out of respect for Frigidaire).

Eats your clothes

This washer has a bottom opening that allows sheets/pillow cases to get under the agitation device and it wraps around. You have to pull things out from under the agitator. It had damaged hundreds of dollars of sheets and pillows.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT

This is the second review I am submitting regarding this Washer -- I am happy to say that I had this piece of junk removed from my house today and I now have a good quality washer installed. It was no surprise to me that even the delivery man noted not to ever buy Frigidaire products. He said they are horrible and Frigidaire does not stand by what they sell. It is so true. I immediately sent notes to family and friends reminding them to never ever buy any Frigidaire products. I told them how Frigidaire will send you "I'm sorry" notes, but never to do anything to fix the problem or offer you a better appliance. Again, I so happy today to be sitting in my living room not dealing with this clunky piece of Frigidaire junk that Frigidaire discontinued after only two years....they knew they sold a bad product and did nothing about it to help the consumer.

Great at first...

We bought this washer and matching dryer about 4 years ago and were pretty happy with the performance of both at the time. They were simple to operate and seemed to work fine.
The washer always had a small problem with drops of water remaining in the tub, as if the valve was still letting a little water through over time, but that was easy to live with.
Lately the washer has taken to stopping and flashing the "not draining fast enough" indicator light on every load. Note that the washer is still draining, and if you hit the start button, it will work fine from that point on, but it's getting too annoying to come back later expecting the wash to be finished, only to find the tub is full of water and there is still a long way to go until the cycle is over. The software should have been designed to try again and only after repeated failed attempts at draining go to the error routine.
I'm sure there is just some build-up in the drain system somewhere, but I tried running some Drano through the system and that didn't help and there is simply no way to get to any of the insides easily and clean out any slight blockage by hand. Either that or the draining sensor is bad.
Unfortunately we are preparing to retire the machine in favor of a new, similar model from a different manufacturer. Regrettably there are also issues with the matching dryer. The controls are slow to respond when you switch them and sometimes the confirmation beep doesn't occur when you change a setting, leaving you to wonder whether the setting is in effect or not. The dryer also beeps for no apparent reason at times. The design of the no-heat "air dry" setting is terrible! Unless you set the dryer to timed dry, the heater will still turn on when drying in "air dry" mode, potentially damaging delicate clothing. Although this is stated in the manual, it is still non-obvious and counter-intuitive.
It's really a shame, as both of these products look nice and have very useful features, especially for the price, but after 4 years, neither one is very good at doing its' basic function any longer.
