Very noisy machine

This was an brand new appliance with our new home. The sensing cycle sounds like the gears are grinding, and the drain pump is extremely loud. We've had a tech come in twice bc I've never had such a loud machine before, and he assured me it was normal. The drain pump is apparently mounted to the casing which is why it sounds like a jet plane taking off and wakes up from my son from his nap. It does seem to clean the clothes. If your machine is in your basement or garage the noise won't bother you. But if you have a laundry room centrally located I suggest a much quieter machine. I also agree with other reviews, it becomes off balance very easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received unit with purchase of new home. Had repairman out within first week, very noisy seemed out of balance , he fixed it to some degree but still very noisy in one cycle(normal cycle) My wife is very careful to balance loads

Frigidaire its a garbage
