Don't waste your time, Literally!!!!

Only got 1 star because it made me give them that!!!
Got rid of my 14yr old (insert competitor here they won't let you mention in a review) that worked FLAWLESSLY for this time consuming piece of junk. We received this frigidaire piece of garbage as part of a new home package. Wish I would've know the make and model of what we were going to receive so I could've read reviews before I got rid of my TRUSTY (insert competitor here they won't let you mention in a review). This thing hasn't work properly since day one (only been in the house 2 weeks). Takes hours to sense the load size (literally took over an hour before it would start washing the clothes). Just locks the lid shut and spins its brains out trying to sense the load and what it needs to do with it. Have taken loads out, tried decreasing the size( to a pair of pants and a couple shirts), unplugged it for over an hour to "reset" it, still wouldn't wash. You couldn't pay me to take another product from frigidaire, Electrolux or whomever this piece of trash is made by.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not bad for a cheap washer

Do I can't complain too much because I did not spend my own money to purchase this washer. I recently moved into an apartment that already has a washer/dryer. Like most reviews say, it is pretty noisy... and yes, the feet are level (this seems to be the answer everyone gets for the loud noises). Also, my detergent never washes out of the clothes completely. I read the manual, which says to put the detergent in first before clothing. I have been putting the clothes in first and putting the detergent on top, so I will try it the recommended way. Regardless, i have never had this issue before with other washers What it tells me is that the washer does not agitate the clothes enough to dissolve all of the detergent. Another downfall is the time it takes for 1 load. I haven't talked iMessage it, but I'm sure it would frustrate me even more knowing the exact cycle time.
Like I said, I didn't purchase this washer, so I am not very harsh on my critiques. I know the washer is running "as designed", which is the worst part. I would look at other brands/designs before purchasing this washer. I am not sure where it falls on the price point of washers on the market, but I would assume it is a "budget" model, so you shouldn't expect expect more than a budget result.
Washers are definitely in the category where you get what you pay for... so do your own research to see what suits your budget vs the results you'll receive.

Thank you for sharing your washer experience, Aaron A. Page 13 in your Owner’s Manual addresses some different sounds your washer may exhibit. For the best results, only use a low-sudsing, high efficiency detergent to prevent oversudsing and aid in rinsing. Some parts of Pennsylvania have hard water, and some granular detergents can combine with hard water minerals and form a residue. Try increasing the water temperature using the hottest water safe for the fabric. Use liquid detergent or use non-precipitating water conditioner with powder detergent. Not working.

We bought this product used but it looked practically brand new. We hooked it up and it seemed to be working for a couple of days but it was making an array of strange noises. After a few loads it began freezing up part way though the cycle. The lights flash and it won't wash and won't drain. The care manual says it is out of balance when this happens but we try balancing it and it still won't do anything. We tried emptying the washer by hand and re-leveling, and switching power off and on again. The machine starts up and freezes again a few minutes in. I wish the washer at least had a drain only option so we don't have to scoop out all the water by hand. This "going out of balance" seems to be a common issue and I think the machine is flawed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
