Washing machine's spin cycle has broken this week. One year appears to cover the repairs. which is good.

I acquired this washer when I bought this house.

I am not happy at all with this washer. First the washer wouldn't rinse and spin because the legs on it need to be adjusted. That was done but the repair man said I needed to get a 2X6 to put under the right side of the washer. He said he didn't have anything to raise it higher.Then today the washer took my pillow case under the drum and ruined it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I went from a front load washer back to a top loader. I'm very glad I did. It was affordable and effective. We immediate washed all the clothes in our house. The washer works great!

A lot of work just to wash a few loads of clothes

I have had this washer for about 3 months. Just as others indicated, it will ruin bedding and tends to become "unbalanced" when washing towels. I can typically keep bedding safe by only washing it on top of a load of towels (to keep it from getting stuck under the agitator) but this doesn't always work. Recently, a light comforter and small load of towels became so unbalanced I just pulled the comforter and let it air dry (because it was too wet to put in my dryer).
When the washer works it does clean well but takes way too long to wash a load of clothes. It is not quiet, regardless of balance and takes a lot of "understanding" to get through cycles that shouldn't be that difficult, like bedding or towels. If it wasn't designed to handle bedding there shouldn't be a bedding setting on the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Therefore, washing cycles may take a bit longer based on size of the load you are washing. Also, your model is equipped with special sensors and software to prevent machine damage caused by extreme cases of unbalanced loads at high spin speeds. In the event that a load is lopsided and weight is not evenly enough distributed before final spin, the machine will pause the spinning phase and notify you of an out of balance situation. I recommend checking your “Use and Care” guide for helpful tips on loading your washer.
