Never had a problem

Good but could be quieter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer does good, the cycles are fairly quiet but the water pump is wayyy to pound! I work nights at a hospital therefore I usually do my laundry at weird hours but the noisy pump makes it hard to do so since everyone is usually asleep when I’m awake.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am just doing my first load of laundry with this washer. It's been over 50 minutes and still not to the rinse cycle. This is a poor excuse for a washing machine. Noisy plus sounds like it's going to fall apart. Hopefully in another 50 minutes I can put the sheets in the dryer so we can go to bed before midnight. That will be 6 hrs start to finish to do 1 load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Quality Washing Machine!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washing machine is not of great quality by any means. This washing machine was purchased with my home, however, I am searching for a new one immediately. I try to wash clothes every week and I always have an issue. The washing machine will stop working in the middle of the cycle prior to the final spin and I have to either restart my load or dry my load completely soaking wet. No reason should there be this many issues with a 1 year old machine. Very disappointing!

Hey ANC18, thank you for sharing your review. In regards to your washer not spinning, I would double check that your drain hoses are not restricted or too long. I would also double check the amount of detergent you are using. Overuse of detergent can result in oversuding and restrict the tub from turning properly. If you still have a concern of sorts, please contact us directly for assistance.

Issue After Issue

This washer came with our house in 2014 (brand new). The day we tested it as part of the home inspection it stood out to us how loud it was. But, we could live with that. But then, the problems added up:
- 2017: Suspension springs had to be replaced
- 2018: Short drain hose between tub and pump ruptured (that was fun to clean up)
- 2019: Drain pump went out (that was also fun to clean up)

We ended up buying another set of washer and dryer (not Frigidaire).
I've repaired all the issues and that has just about cost me the value of this washer. Happy to be saying goodbye to this unit.
Note: No problems with the matching dryer (FFRE1001PW0). Sadly, the washer/dryer combo is crippled by the washer's shortcomings.

16 year old Frigidaire washer still going strong

Wasn't sure where to write this, but just had to give shout out to Frigidaire for making a real work horse in my 16 year old washer, model FWS445RFS2. We have run 2 to 3 heavy loads a day and this gem just keeps going on. I cannot recall having a repair. We are giving this to a family in need and I know it will serve them well. Thank you, Frigidaire for serving us well.
