We bought this washer and had it installed in December. When operating on maximum spin there is a loud banging on the side of the machine. It shakes the entire stacked unit and verberates throughout the whole room. Since we were leaving shortly for the winter and because of the Holidays no one would be available to take a look at it until some time after we left. As it stands, we will have it looked at this summer when we return. Maybe this is something simple, maybe not. Supposedly it will still be under warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello cj44! I would check if all of your washer's shipping bolts were removed. If the shipping bolts are not removed this may be the cause of the sound you hear. I welcome you to contact us directly should you have any current questions or concerns. –Kind Regards, Theresa
The washing machine is on the bottom of a stacked unit. It was brand new when I moved into my rented condo. Being that there are only 2 of living there, the computer system shouldn't have gone bad.....ever....Now I have to pay $100 to have a second tech come take the units apart so that the computer can be replaced. Granted, being under warranty, THAT is free of charge. The machine should have been tested and made to higher quality standards. Not a happy Frigidaire appliance owner. Unfortunately, there are 3 other Frigidaire units in my home.
Regarding the questions below, I didn't select the appliances as it is a rental unit, and don't know where they were purchased.
