Good washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer does a fine job of cleaning, which is expected from a name-brand appliance. What is especially nice is the 37 and 45 minute run cycles that make my laundry time super-efficient! The cold water cycle does not clean soil well, so my dark workout clothes need to be washed in warm water, but that's no problem. Like this washer!

door broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only washer that fits under my counter top. So I am stuck! The door hinge plastic cracked and broke, also the top. It washes great, however the rubber gets moldy very quickly . Yes , I wipe it out and run bleach , however it is a bad design. This machine does not last long, maybe 7 yrs and off to buy a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although we place a great deal of emphasis on quality control, there are occasions when even the best products may malfunction. After some research, I am happy to inform you that all of our current front loading washers have the same dimensions. Mold or mildew in the gasket has many possible causes:
1. Use of non-HE detergent
2. Overdosing of detergent
3. Overloading wash drum
4. Leaving a wet load in washer after cycle has ended
5. Cold water washes, which many not completely dissolve and remove detergents.
We recommend performing a clean washer cycle (page 16 in your Owner’s Manual). Scrub the gasket with a gel mildew stain remover using a brush. Only use HE (high efficiency detergent) along with the recommended dosage (adjusting for Michigan’s hard water). Remove wash load immediately upon cycle completion. Leave the door open for a few hours after use, or whenever the washer is not in use. Some preventive measures that can be taken are; running a dehumidifier in the laundry room, avoid overfilling detergent and fabric softener compartments in the dispenser, and dry the inside of washer and gasket after every run. Better Than Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a gift about a month ago. I needed a small, stackable unit for my new place. I wasnt expecting much, but figured that anything was better than a laundromat.
This unit is every bit as nice as my last full sized washer. It has a lot of features, and can handle much larger loads than i expected. You can easily customize the settings.
It doesnt have a "clean" feature preset for this model, but it does have a combination of buttons to hit to activate the feature, which is explained in the user manual.
I would recommend this to a friend!

had a repair man come out to fix front gasket on front door and made worse.

I definitely wouldn't want a smelly washing machine either, Marye50! I recommend making sure there are no blockages or kinks in the household line. This can cause the waste water to back up and flow back into the tub when a wash cycle is selected. I also recommend trying the following: Press and hold the Spin Speed and Options buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds until the display changes to “CLn”. Add one (1) cup of liquid chlorine bleach. Then Press Start/Pause to begin. I hope this information is helpful.
