I only had for a couple of months and the light's don't work, and some of the setting don't work I could only use one or too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

teddy362, I can only imagine how frustrating this has been for you! With your statement about the lights not working it could be one of several things, a defective house breaker, control board, cord, or the wiring. Nice features, Energy Saver, High Efficiency

It works well thus far, but its still new so I don't expect any problems at this point in time. Didn't take long to figure out how to use settings without reading manual. (I did eventually) Machine is quiet, however, does make some noise when spinning at high & max settings. What I dislike is...this machine does not take as much water out of clothing, towels after last spin cycle as my older machine, which was a late 1980's model. The clothes were nearly dry after spinning with that one. So, these days I must run the dryer more to get the clothes fully dry. The model I have does not have a steam feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Happy Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Frigidaire washer has passed the first two weeks of extensive use with flying colors. The wash is gentle and quiet, a major improvement over the 18 year old Frigidaire washer it replaced. Also impressive is the elimination of virtually all the lint that was produced by the old machine and discharged to clog the washtub drain.
The high speed spin dries the clothes so thoroughly that it almost but not quite retires its Frigidaire companion dryer. A cleaner, quieter, more satisfactory washer is hard to imagine.

Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer along with the washer about a month ago. They are very quiet when they run. Sometimes don't even hear them. They fit perfectly in the space we had built for them. We have them stacked and I am able to reach the dryer controls without having to stand on a stool. I am just about 5ft tall.
