Washer leaks

Moved into a new home, the seller provided with a washer, first time used and it leaks on the sides. Tried again and leaks again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer replaced the exact same one I had since it had to match the dryer. I don’t like that it doesn’t have a shorter wash cycle, and I find small articles of clothing, like socks get stuck in the large space of the gasket around the opening of the machine . There was also a huge amount of water that sits in there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

large capacity, yet fits my space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had front load laundry machines since 1972, using them both stacked and under the counter. This is my second Frigidaire dryer. The first one lasted 17 years. My space was built for it's washer/dryer set, with a stepped up platform to make reaching inside easier, so I was very relieved to find this set! All of the other machines were either too wide or too deep. The drum is larger than my previous one, which is great. The settings are easy to change, or I can leave it set for a normal load and, if my husband puts some things in, he just has to press start. He likes that. I've had this dryer for 8 months and am happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I stated in my dryer review, I'm a long time front load laundry customer. My previous Frigidaire washer was still working at age 17, but the companion dryer was leaving grease stains, so I had to replace the set. I needed a set that would fit in my space - all they other machines were too wide or too deep.
I have had this washer for 8 months. I like that the drum is larger than my previous one, the paddles look to be a better design than some of my former machines, the settings are easy to change, or can be left on normal so my husband can just press start if he does a load. That's easier than the last machine. It does make more noise when filling than I expected, but that's not a problem for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!
