After having my old washer and dryer for 21 years, wow have washers and dryers changed and for the good.

Washer works great. Disappointing with the dryer

I bought the 2 front loader units in June and have had service out to look at the dryer because it is not drying the cloths. service said it is working fine but it takes 3 45min cycles to dry a load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Timothy! ! To reduce long drying times, make sure all lint has been removed from your dryer’s lint filter before starting each cycle. Check your exhaust duct behind your dryer and routing outside your home. If the ducting is collapsed, replace with 4 inch diameter rigid or semi-rigid metal. Clean any obstructions that could cause your exhaust duct to become clogged or restricted. These are just a few suggestions that should help you out. BOUGHT THE WASHER A FEW YEARS AGO AND JUMPED AT THE CHANCE TO BUY THE MATCHING DRYER WHEN OUR OLD DRYER QUIT. SO FAR VERY DISAPPOINTED. IT HAS A BUNCH OF DRYING SETTINGS AND SO FAR THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS IS THE LONGEST SETTING. IT BARELY DRYS CLOTHS FASTER THAN OUR 20 YEAR OLD UNIT IT REPLACED.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty good, with a few quirks.

Have been using our new dryer for about a month and think it does a pretty good job. It's exceedingly quiet and simple to use, but does have a few quirks. First, the super-simplified controls may thwart users who want to finish a partially dried load by setting a specific running time -- it only allows selection of a few preset drying durations. The "one touch" door is a pleasure to open, but I've also seen it pop open accidentally on one occasion when a heavy blanket in the dryer load brushed against the inside of the door with exactly the right cadence. And, like most dryers, things caught inside of a bedsheet or blanket won't dry because the tumbling action can't shake loose the trapped items. Thus, your drying times might be a bit longer than you'd expect.
