It is easy to use and not a lot of "touch this, then touch that". Very simple. I like the musical "end" tone, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works wonderfully. Only concern is the timer buzzer is not as loud as we would wish it was. Need to check the manual to see if volume can be increased!

Loyal Whirlpool customer somewhat disappointed

We bought this microwave/hood combo as a replacement for our 8 year old Whirlpool combo unit. In the first year we have already had repairs to it. Both were covered under the warranty, but it seem extreme for a new appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works as expected

Bought this one to replace a dead whirlpool unit that I suspect was installed with home when built 9 years earlier. It is much quiter than the old microwave. It does the job well and we probably won't use all the features that are available. The beeps stop when the door is opened unlike another brand. Seems to heat up food faster. Does not come with a bowl for steam cooking, which is the one knock on features.

I bought this a month or so ago to replace the last whirlpool microwave... Liked old one so wanted the same only this one sets out kinda farther than the old one....but I like how it works!

I love my microwave. I purchased it a month ago and it has proven to be quiet, efficient and beautiful. It fits perfectly over my stove. It came with just enough bells and whistles... simple enough for me to operate. It was easy to install. My husband and I made an excellent choice on Whirlpool Microwave Hood!
