No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

attractive, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my microwave almost one month. It replaced a 15 year old top of the line GE. The only feature I really miss are the express cook buttons for 1,2,3,4 and 5 minutes. Not a big deal. The inside light seems dimmer than my old microwave, but that might be because of the stainless interior in the Whirlpool.
Those are the negatives.
The positives - very smart looking. A lot of easy to use features. The signal for the end of the cooking cycle is NOT that awful beep. It is almost musical. So much nicer. Cooks food evenly.
I am quite pleased.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bracket doesn't hold the microwave as well as the past two microwaves. Yes, we used the new bracket that came with this microwave. The inside height is shorter than past microwaves. I only bought this microwave because it was the correct color and supposedly size. My broken GE microwave was discontinued or I would have ordered another one.
