The light went out within 2 months of purchase. The turntable frequently comes off track during use. Microwave has sparked before when the metal tray was in it. I took the metal tray out and have not had any more sparks. When baking potatoes using the potato button on the keypad the potatoes are never fully cooked til done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not durable! Constant repairs! Now just dead...

This unit has had to be repaired at least every 4 to 6 months. Worked fine for a short while then the door locks kept freezing up, needing to be reset or replaced because it won't work otherwise. Light continually flickers. It is ok for a stove light... NOT.WORTH.THE.MONEY!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
