I've had my new microwave for a few months. It is quiet, and works well. I replaced a ten year old Whirlpool microwave with this one. Whirlpool is an appliance brand that I have always had good luck with.

Sleek and Modern

I had to outfit my entire home with new appliances and always knew I was going to go with Whirlpool appliances. They are reliable, reasonably priced, have state-of-the-art features and fit perfectly in my new home! I conducted my homework and confirmed that this appliance received solid marks on Consumer Reports.

Large interior, easy to install and operate.

This microwave was easy to install by two relatively unhandy homeowners. We've been using it for about a month with no issues, the exhaust fan is powerful and the surface light has been great. The only issue I had was the loud beeping of the keys when entering cook times, but that was easily turned off in the options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some good, some bad

Timer is unusual and not like most other timers. Can't set by hours, only minutes and cannot set for more than 4 digits making it impossible to set for anything longer than 99:59 minutes. This makes no sense to me at all. The bell on the timer is not very loud and there have been several times we've missed the timer because we didn't hear it.The cooking/heating functions work well and we have no complaints. If we would have known about the issues with the timer we would have at least had second thoughts about buying it. Maybe yes, maybe no.
