Burns on one side

Toast burns on one side even though "bagel" button not engaged. Very disappointed in this toaster that I have had only a few weeks. Sometimes it burns on side, other times not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this toaster because have found B&D products reliable. After one use, the bagel button is stuck and the defrost option doesn't work. So disappointed that this happened. Had an older Kitchen Aid that gave up the ghost after 10 years. Thought this was a good choice but doesn't seem to be working. The exterior gets very hot so have to be extra vigilant in not touching the surface.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bagel button

I bought this to toast on side and heat the other as the description said. I have had this about 4 days when I tried bagel feature. Both sides came out the same. My other toaster did one side, but elements started not to work so I went looking for another. So I may have return it. Otherwise it toast fine.
