pretty freaking disappointed .

basically junk. cant handle making 10 cups of coffee. overflows coffee grounds into the coffee pot constantly. then the quick cup feature gets jammed and leaks coffee all over your countertop. tried other filters. still messes up. also pours poorly.

Great for a year

This was a great coffee maker for about a year and then it flat out refused to brew. We’ve tried all of the trouble shooting prompts with it and still can’t get it to brew. This was a Christmas present for my husband so he’s obviously very upset it died, he’s a coffee fan. We luckily had our old (much cheaper) coffee maker tucked away. What a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Coffee Pot Ever. Fresh coffee all day every!

Best one I've ever had, I am 63 and have owned many, it has lasted me for years. Sadly yesterday it died. I came across this site looking for a service manual and parts list. I drink a lot of coffee, having fresh coffee all day is awesome. Hope you have as good luck as I have.

Have some glue handy.

Being unable to find a replacement caraffe for my last black and decker coffee maker, I bought this one, two hours ago, because the caraffe isn't glass. It was well packaged, and look good. I washed the caraffe, and pulled the brew basket out to wash it. There was a little piece of black plastic, loose in it. Upon inspection, I discovered it was one of the two pieces that held the lid on. BAM! Broken right out of the box. I'll continue my search for a caraffe that might work with my old one....or find some really good glue.

Absolutely worthless

I read so many glowing reviews that I figured this would be a solid choice. After six months of limited use, the coffee maker died. I’ve tried unplugging and plugging into various outlets and the clock doesn’t even turn on. What a waste of money!

Deterioration of Coating on inside of Carafe

I bought this coffee maker several years ago. Recently I realized that some kind of black colored liner coating inside the stainless steel carafe was deteriorating and flaking off into the coffee. I hope that this material is not toxic and that I have not ingested any of it. There seems to be no replacement carafe available anywhere.
