Nice coffee maker!

i love the look and the carafe. the coffee doesn't burn because there is no heating element beneath the carafe. The only downside is that the temperature of the coffee will diminish over time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this 3 months ago and it worked great and then just quit. Contacted the company and they are replacing it.

Strong brew and regular brew are no different, coffee was weak with both options, coffee not very hot for second cup.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I like this coffeemaker. My only complaint is with the documentation. Nowhere in the manual does it say that you need to set the brew strength option before you turn the pot on. Overall, though, a minor frustration. The next test will be to see how durable it is, but it does have a 2-year warranty, which is a plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Coffeemaker

This is my second purchase for the 12-cup Thermal Coffeemaker. I don’t know how many coffeemaker’s I’ve owned over the last 30 years, but let me tell you this is the best. I grind my own beans. I’m not a fan of Keurig type coffees. This coffeemaker is so well designed, it is easy to operate and program. Easy to maintain and clean. The Thermal carafe is outstanding and will hold the heat of your fresh brew for hours. BTW, when it arrived, it was extremely well packaged for protection yet not impossible to take out of box and set up. I can’t say enough about this coffeemaker. It is the only appliance I’ve owned by Black and Decker, and it has made me a believer of B&D appliances. Great job Black and Decker!
