Sadly dissappointed

I've had the opportunity to own 2 of these models. I love the features on it, especially the carafe. However, the first one kept getting ground in my coffee, no matter what steps I'd taken. So, I bought another. This time, the the handle on the lid broke. It's one of the best ones I've had, except for these two issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty good brewer, poor lid design

It brews good coffee, I like the thermal carafe instead of heating element. Sometimes we get grounds in the bottom of the pot (seems to be a common issue), and the lid just broke. The button you press when pouring coffee out doesn't work any more. I pried the lid apart, and there's a very thin plastic hinge that broke. Should be a more sturdy design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

12 CUP PROGRAMMABLE COFFEE MAKER OVERFLOWS

Black and Decker Thermal Programmable coffee maker CM2035B overflows. No grounds on the counter, carafe placement is checked, half of the pot gets filled perfectly, then the second half of the pot goes on the counter. This has happened more than once. After the first time I gaveit the benefit of the doubt, chalked it up to user error. Not this time. I also believe due to the tight seal between basket and carafe lid, pressure builds in the carafe to the point it will no longer allow coffee to enter. Why only on occasion? The carafe is meticulously maintained and kept clean. Response?

Great carafe but I need a replacement

This is a great coffee pot and I'm very happy with it. Although I put the carafe in the dishwasher and now a bunch of the inside coating has come out. I need to get a replacement carafe but I can't find how to get one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The carafe leaks when you pour the coffee. Leaks from the bottom of the carafe.

Carafe

Love that the carafe keeps coffee warm for hours. My lid has leaked almost the whole time I’ve owned this coffee maker so I am constantly cleaning coffee spots from counters and floors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Carafe lid leaks when pouring

I purchased this coffee maker a year ago and, after a few months of use, the carafe started to leak when pouring. I like the coffee maker and this is our second of this model... the previous carafe lid broke and we decided to just buy a new coffee maker. Is there a replacement lid that would solve this problem? I don’t like the mess it makes and the need to always have a towel handy. I usually need to pour when over a sink.
