Flip the lid

We have had it 2 years but the carafe lid will only allow a trickle of coffee out. I took lid apart and I see the thumb depresser bends without opening spout. Do you have replacement. Defective design or breakdown from hot coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Half in the pot half on the counter

We have had this coffee maker about 3 months and its starting to have issues. Twice now we wake up to half of the pot of coffee on the counter and half in the pot. The other issue is the filter collapsing and grounds going into the pot. These issues seem to be common with other people. Any suggestions? Love the fact that it brews and keeps the coffee hot without having to keep the warmer on for hours.

Great coffee maker

I bought this coffee maker less than a year ago, it worked great until today, now no coffee comes out of the carafe when I depress the handle, now I have to take the lid off to pour out my coffee, can I get a replacement lid?

Great coffee for hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with this product! I really like the auto time brew feature. My favorite thing about this maker is the pot itself. I sometimes don't get to enjoy my 2nd cup of coffee for an hour or so later and by then it has cooled off and I no longer want it, so it gets wasted. With this coffee maker my coffee was still very hot and tasted fresh an hour later. After brewing, the machine stops producing heat and doesn't "cook" the coffee so you can enjoy a second cup. The pot is cool to the touch so you won't burn yourself and can carry it and set it down on any surface.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thermal carafe works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two hours after I made hot water using this the water is still hot while the carafe is cool to the touch.
It seems like this would use less energy than regular coffeemakers as it shuts off when it finishes making coffee and there is no hot plate under the carafe. I heard that it is more efficient to reheat your drink in a microwave rather than leaving your coffee maker on, but this is even better.
There is no way to tell how much water is left in the carafe. You must hold a tab down in order to pour - wish this part seemed sturdier.
It takes the basket type of filter. It does not come with any filters so make sure you have a filter on hand.

Has great features and keeps coffee hot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters I'm used to using a single cup brewer, so this was a new adventure for me. My first batch of coffee in this wasn't what I had expected it was very strong on the 1-4 cup setting without having to use the strength option, which in itself is very handy for those days when I need an extra boost. My 2nd pot was much better, as I adjusted coffee grounds. Setting the timer for automatic brewing was a breeze and I had coffee ready for me when I woke up. I love that it also tells you how long the coffee has been sitting after brewing, even after an hour of sitting it was nice and hot like it was just brewed. I haven't reached the point of the coffeemaker to tell me when it is time to rescale, but I can't wait to actually have it tell me. The carafe is built well and is very easy to clean, also a lot easier to not spill as I pour, also love that is not glass with a heating element. This coffeemaker also has a sneak a cup feature that I have yet to use.
