Broken lid on carafe

I really like the simple nature of this coffeemaker and the fact the carafe can be set anywhere on the counter or table as opposed to it being hot and set back on the coffee maker. However, the lid to the carafe broke and I can't seem to locate a replacement. Andy ideas?

Broken Cover

I bought this coffeemaker about 8 months ago and the cover just broke and I'm looking for a replacement one and I can't find one. I love the coffee and the fact that it stays hot longer because of the thermal pot and the wide mouth is great to get your hand in to clean it. As I'm reading the other reviews it looks like this is a major problem with the covers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fine coffee maker. Bad carafe lid design.

The coffee maker works great and the carafe keeps it hot and fresh for hours. But the lid in the carafe wouldn't allow the poor spout to work. I took it apart to find the plastic piece connected from the button to the pour spot gasket was cracked, preventing any pressure on the button to have any effect on the pour spout. It has become very inconvenient to use :-\ But still makes yummy, essential coffee.

My husband recieved this coffee pot as a gift approximately 4 months ago. We absolutely loved it, until the lid broke yesterday. As I have read through the other reviews, this seems to be a very common issue.

Lid failed

This is a great coffee maker. The use of a stainless steel carafe means it does not need a heat element below the pot. However, the button on the top of the lid has broken internally and coffee won't pour out anymore.

This is a Great Coffee Maker and I use it all the time. After reviewing some of the other comments I believe it would be wise to get another as a spare as well. I wanted to buy a spare Thermal Carafe and don't see anywhere to purchase one. Is there a web page that has this item.
