makes great coffee! however my lid just broke !

had this coffee maker about 9 months, and the lid just broke. would rate it higher if it didn't break. trying to find a replacement, but no luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design Flaw Fiasco.

I thought I had finally purchased a coffee maker that would last a year without incident. I had hoped to hit that magical 1 year mark where nothing clogs, nothing switches off or on inadvertently and where nothing breaks. Once again I have failed to pick a winner. I thought this maker was going to be the one. Flipping my lid seems pointless now so I'll just go with the flow and "venti" awhile. I wouldn't want to make things worse by spewing scalding hot invectives all over the place. That would just be a waste of energy. All in all I was happy 'til it broke. A fix would be great. A new lid without the design flaw would be better. 2 stars for the time it worked. I'm holding back 3 stars for my brokerage fee for reviews updates. May our futures be sensibly caffeinated. P.S: caffeine is the world's most widely consumed psychoactive drug. Bottoms up buttercup!

I've had none about 8 months and my lid just broke, too! Can't seem to find a replacement carafe...so the decision is rebuy a product I love (that may break) or find a new coffee pot....sad...

Hot Coffee

We bought this coffee pot about a year ago and the carafe no longer keeps coffee hot, even when it is freshly brewed. Any suggestions??

Very good experience

We were enjoying our brewer until the lid broke. While researching a replacement we have found all the other people in these reviews that are having the same issue. I also see many reply's from customer service so I am hoping they do have a replacement lid and they will contact me to obtain a new one.

Great but lid broke :(

We love this coffee maker but the lid broke yesterday so the coffee no longer stays hot. I cannot seem to find anywhere online that sells replacement lids or carafes. Help!?!?

Love the coffeemaker and have been loyal to B&D for many purchases...however we seem to have fallen victim to a recurring theme - the thumb tab on the lid has malfunctioned and would like to have it replaced...

Good coffee maker, faulty pot

We've been using ours for about a year and the lid broke a couple months ago. We can still make coffee, but sometimes it spills when we pour it... A bit annoying. I was hoping to find a new insulated carafe for the coffee maker. We really like how long the coffee stays warm in it and are happy overall with the coffee maker. Where should I go to get a replacement?
