Pot was great until the lid broke. Now you can't tilt the lid to pour, really expected it would last longer than 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good until.....

I have had this pot for over a year and a half and coffee is great but the strength option does not work.....coffee overflows when using this option so I just don't use it but more importantly the lid has stopped functioning properly and I have to literally take it off in order to pour coffee.....hence it effects the pots ability to keep the coffee hot for a long period of time now! Are replacement lids available?
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm going to email you at the address you listed in other replies, but just in case I'll leave this here. I'd like to order a new lid and/or carafe. I've only had mine about 6 months, also.

Keeps coffee hot but lid breaks

We got this coffee maker from our kids as a gift. We watch our grandchildren and whenever we wanted a new cup we knew it would be hot. Like everyone else the lid went bad. We loved it so much we bought a new one again the lid broke and wouldn't pour. I wish we could get a replacement lid

Great except for lid

Coffee maker works well and like the thermal carafe as it keeps the coffee hot without a heating element but once again the lid has stopped working to pour the coffee. Had the unit less than a year. Replacement lids should be provided.

Dependable except...

We bought this coffe maker about 12 months ago. It keeps our coffee hot all morning. However, after 8 months the lid broke. Now we have to take the lid off to pour. I have not been able to find a replacement lid. ???
