Great Features

I brought this coffeemaker three (3) months ago and the lid is already broken. I've been searching for a replacement. Other than the broken lid, I am thoroughly enjoying my new coffeemaker. Please advise where a new lid can be obtained.

12 cup thermal carafe coffee pot

I love this coffee pot with the exception of the lid. Just after having this for a year the lid broke and now it is very inconvenient to pour and I have woken up to coffee all over my counter. I have had no luck with replacing just the lid. It is to bad as I would not buy this product again unless a replacement lid was available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

12-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker CM2035B LID

Hi - we've had this coffee maker for about 10 months. The lid keeps breaking on the inside. We've fixed it twice with superglue - (I hate the thought of drinking steamed super glue!) This morning we woke up to coffee streaming down our painted white cabinets. The lid has once again broke- but now in two spots. Is it possible to get a new lid or even an entirely new carafe and lid. Otherwise the coffee maker works well, makes great STRONG coffee. And love the thermal since the coffee stays hot without tasting stale.

Love this product, BUT....

I recently cleaned it for the 3rd time since we've had it and now I have no display. It won't work at all and that's terrible on a Sunday morning. HELP!!!!

A decent machine...a not-so-decent lid.

I like the machine, I've never had issues with it. It's always worked as expected...but the lid is not great. The spout now barely opens when you depress the button to pour the coffee. You have to sort of...half-press it down, because pressing it fully causes the rubber piece on the spout to somehow close again, so only a trickle pours out. Also, when the carafe is less than three quarters full and you have to tip it more, the rubber in the spout closes and again...you only get a trickle. To avoid frustration, after the first cup I usually just take the lid off to pour subsequent cups. Part of the appeal of this machine is the vacuum sealed carafe that keeps coffee hot longer...but having to take the lid off to pour every cup after the first...really makes the vacuum seal non-existent. I can't seem to track down a way to get a replacement lid, so I guess I'm stuck with this until I find a new coffeemaker. Frustrating.

Great coffee maker but LOUSY LID!

Exact same problem as others. Makes a great pot of coffee and stays hot for a long time, but the lid valve broke after about one month. Inside the lid is a poorly-designed mechanism that lifts the silicone stopper that seals the spout when you press the lever above the handle. The plastic piece that provides the link is too thin and cracks very easily. Would like to get a new lid or even just the lever piece on the inside. It really should be reinforced or re-designed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
