Keeps coffee warm and tasty without cooking it

Brought 1 a year ago and love the coffee it brews, but the carafe lid broke at 11 months and was not able to purchase another lid, so bought another coffee maker; Still would like to purchase a replacement lid.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken Lid - release lever

Apparently the lid is an issue that needs to be re-engineered. I contacted the email help line, explained my issue, received a response within hours, completed their questions and again, there was a quick response. 'Your Opinion Matters (Spectrum)' resolved my problem quickly and completely - They actually did way more than I hoped, expected or imagined. For that reason alone, I'd purchase a Black + Decker product again.

Broken lid

The lid lasted about 3 months. Anywhere to find a replacement? I bought on for the lunch room at work and for home.

Leaky!

Unfortunately, my coffee maker leaks 80% of the time, as the coffee brews. It is frustrating to brew a pot and find half of the coffee on the counter :(
Will have to replace it.

Lid stops working

In less than one year the lid cannot pour. The lever will not not open.

Stops Brewinf

I would give this coffee maker a 5/5 easily if it wasn't for the fact that I have to constantly monitor whether the thing is actually on. I push the brew button...it brews 1cup, turns off and we repeat the cycle 6 more times. It becomes a very damp tasting batch with over extracted beans by the sixth click. I plan to replace soon and have always had BD makers and am questioning if I will continue patronizing your products.

love the coffee maker but... problems with the lid

Nothing is better then waking up to 12 cups of fresh brewed hot coffee and having it stay warm in its own craft! Having said that ... We love the coffee maker but have had numerous problems with the lid and pouring. We now take the lid off when pouring a cup of coffee.... it would be the best if the lid was working

Good coffee maker, horrible lid

The lid was always a little temperamental, then the thumb button broke. The lid would still pour, you just couldn't shut it off. Now it won't pour, you have to remove the lid to pour a cup of coffee. I haven't seen where I could buy a new carafe or lid.
