Won't brew an entire pot!

I brought this unit in September 2015, at first I thought it was great. fast forward 5 months later and the unit will not brew an entire pot. The Machine shuts off as if the brew cycle has been completed. Sometimes only after brewing 1 cup. The only way to get a full pot is to stand close to the machine and keep pressing the brew button. Not impressed that it takes me over an hour to brew a pot of coffee that isn't even all that hot by the time you get to enjoy it. So disappointed. Unfortunately, I cannot find my receipt so the store will not return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like the coffee maker, the carafe is another matte

The coffee maker works just fine, but the lever on the carafe broke and I cannot find replacement carafes or lids.

Love this coffee machine

We bought this about 8 months ago, we like the way it brews and keep the coffee warm . The lid to the coffee urn has broken though, It will no longer open when you press the button to pour the coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good coffee, faulty lid

Great except for what's been said.

This coffee maker has worked great for me. I love the stainless steel carafe. But, as mentioned multiple times, the carafe lid broke and pouring the coffee is quite difficult now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Plastic odor and taste unacceptable

I was excited about this coffeemaker. I followed the instructions as provided, but after several uses there is still a strong plastic odor and taste in the coffee. Obviously I'm concerned about what harm this could be doing to my health long term. I will be attempting to return it. Apparently near boiling water and soft plastic parts are not a good combination. Black and Decker should be able to do better.

Same problem - lid broken

I have the same problem others have mentioned. The lid mechanism has fragile plastic parts which break. After a short while, pressing the button dispenses little or no coffee. They should at least offer a replacement carafe (or lid) for sale.
