Broken carafe lid

I purchased the coffeemaker six months ago and have been very pleased with it. But now, the thumb handle to pour no longer opens the seal that allows the coffee to flow out when pouring. Having to remove the lid to pour is not acceptable. Where can I get a new lid so I can continue to enjoy my coffeemaker?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Coffee......lid just quit!

We have had our CM2035B coffee maker for nearly a year....loved the coffee. Out of the blue the lid stopped working.....won't open. Not one drop. Love the coffee but can't find anywhere a replacement lid....very disappointed.

Bought this coffee maker a year ago and use it everyday. Coffee maker works great, electronics are above the carafe so no worries about them getting damaged by hot coffee. The only flaw is the carafe's poorly designed lid. You have to gently press the thumb lever when pouring coffee. Too much pressure and the lever will break. Mine just broke, now I am in search of a replacement lid. I wouldn't recommend this coffee maker unless the carafe's lid is redesigned.

Bad Craafe Top

Great coffee maker....but

Coffee maker working great, but there is definitely a design flaw in the carafe lid. The pouring mechanism would not work after daily coffee making for about 6 months. I fiddled with it and got it going again, but now the lever you push for pouring broke.

Need a replacement lid or carafe

I purchased this unit less than a year ago, with minimal use, the lid latch is broken. In order to pour coffee, I disassembled the lid, removed the latch and associated hardware (most importantly the stopper). Where can I get a replacement lid (or the parts to fix it)?
