New Motorhome Appliance

Perfect size, the Thermal pot keeps coffee hot for several hours. Because the heating element turns off once brewing is complete there is no worries about scorched coffee or bottom heating element damaging my counter top in my Motorhome. Plus reduced fire hazard.

Best Coffee Pot Ever

We have had this coffee pot for about a week. So far, we love it. I can't believe how long it keeps the coffee hot. I love it also because there is nothing hot on it. My little great grandbabies could touch this and never get burned.

Quiet Brewing

Received Black and Decker 12-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker yesterday, followed directions for cleaning and preparing for our first pot. Set it up for an automatic brew this morning and although I was the person to set it all up, due to its QUIET brewing I couldn’t remember what time I set our morning coffee for!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Confirming what others have said:
1. Our lid has malfunctioned after less than a year, pouring is difficult, and often coffee goes all over the floor during brewing.
2. This coffee maker does not heat the coffee enough nor keep it hot. I have to microwave every cup I pour to get it to the proper temp.

Overall I like this coffee maker, but I have purchased two and both of them had the lid break the same way within two months.

bought this in March 2015, lid is broken by May 2015. Can't find replacement Thermal Carafe!

Another Problem with the Lid

We generally like this coffeemaker but the carafe's lid is faulty and dribbles coffee everywhere. It's just a poor design. It doesn't appear possible to buy a replacement lid or carafe.
