Loved this coffee maker until the lid broke

I loved this coffee pot until the lid broke. The only way we can pour the coffee is to remove the lid. I really liked this coffee maker and would like it even more if the lid was not faulty. As it is right now, I could not recommend to a friend unless I can find a replacement lid. Otherwise I like this coffee maker.

Brand new pot - "Sneak-a-Cup" leaks everywhere!

We asked for and received this coffee maker as a Christmas gift. It does make a nice strong hot cup of coffee. There is a problem, however. We've used it about 10 times and each and every time, the "Sneak-a-Cup" feature fails and leaks everywhere. It is a huge mess. Even our basic $15 pot before this allowed us to pour a quick cup in the middle of the brew cycle. With this Black+Decker model, taking the pot off does nothing to stop the drip flow and you end up with a half cup of scalding coffee all over the machine and counter. I can't believe an item of this price can't do a simple function like letting me pour a cup in the middle of brewing. I am pouring it well within the 20-second time frame specified in the manual. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Love the coffee maker but...

This is our second one in 3 months for the same problem. The water overflows the filter causing a lot of grounds in the coffee. I'm also not looking forward to the lid breaking problem!

Won't finish the brew

We bought this CM about a year ago. Worked like a charm for about 6 mo. Then it started to stop before the water was gone. Fiddling with the controls, (program off-on,1-4 cups off-on, etc .) had it working again, mostly. The last two months it has not completed a cycle without repeatedly restarting the brew cycle. It has gotten to needing 8-10 restarts to finish brewing a pot! Really frustrating! Gotten to hate this machine!

Mine had to be broken in

I have had the coffee maker for 1 and1/2 years. It is now working great. When I first got it, the coffee maker would quit half way through the process. I would start it again and it would quit with 2 cups left. Even when I would program it, it would quit. It now goes through the entire water supply and makes great coffee. The only problem I have now, it the lid of the coffee carafe is broken. Took it apart and the round lever for the open/close spout is broken in the open position. Tried super glue and didn't work. Tried hot glue stick an didn't work. Can't find a replacement part so the coffee gets colder faster. I recommend the coffee maker, but with reservations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works Great...at first

We've had this coffee maker for about a year and a half. It brewed great-tasting coffee which stayed hot in the stainless steel carafe. However, for the past few months it's been harder and harder to pour the coffee. I had to pour my wife's coffee because it's become impossible for her to press the thumb lever. If I'm not home she had to remove the lid to pour. I think the lever is cracked our bent inside. I've been unable to find a replacement lid anywhere.

Works great except the lid has broken

I bought this coffeemaker a year ago and I've been really happy with how long it keeps coffee hot, stays clean, and generally makes really good, consistent coffee.
However, the lid has now become faulty, in that pressing the thumb button does not fully raise the little stopper, so coffee just dribbles out. This means that filling a cup of coffee would take about a minute - not acceptable. Removing the lid is an obvious solution, but that's not really how the product was intended to be used. After searching online, it seems that replacement lids are nowhere to be found, and that lots of people are having problems with this lid.
Seems like a design problem. How do I get this repaired? Shame that a good coffeemaker could be ruined by a cheap lid.

LID BROKE IN A YEAR

i love this coffeemaker, but the thumbpress on the lid cracked and won't pour unless i use my other hand to press the lever down pretty hard - then it dribbles as well. been searching the internet for a replacement lid, looks like i have to purchase the entire carafe. BUT - can't find anywhere that offers that either. HELP!!!
