convection oven too

I bought this black and decker Convection countertop oven today. all my life I have used black and decker because of quality. when I seen how big the oven is, wow it can bake two pizzas at same time!it even has a timer and 3 shelves as well. it is big enough but yet small enough to make some serious food...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fire Hazard - BEWARE!!

I bought this unit to replace my 18 year old Hamilton Beach. I was happy with it until I tried it. I read the instructions, plugged it in and turned it on at 350oF for 4 minutes - what I thought was conservative - just to see how it heats. After 2 minutes the outside casing was too hot to touch. Top, sides, back... all way too hot to touch. God forbid I try to broil anything in it. This unit is going back to the store unused. I say stay away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this mainly to try the air fry feature, but also to have a toaster/convection oven. There is a little pamphlet with instructions as to how to turn on, but no recipes or directions on how long to cook things. Especially on the air fryer, I expected some sort of guidelines. I will have to use it to see how it works, so if I am not pleased, I won't be able to return it.

My oven has developed an issue. I purchased it about 6 months ago and it has been working great. All of a sudden the toast dial is malfunctioning. It just spins back from the toasting level set and shuts off the unit. I have to hold it in place to toast anything. Can you help with this issue?
