I intended to wait to purchase the new Samsung S6, my samsung S3 died unexpectedly on me and my timetable to purchase was moved up. overall I am happy with this purchase, there are a few minor issues I have with the design I have, but the phone functions well.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

The Galaxy S6 is a great smartphone that has all the latest and greatest features. Having such a brilliant screen comes with a drawback. The battery isn't lasting as long as I would like. I will eventually find an external powerbank that features Quick Charge 2.0 and make it a staple in my everyday pack.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm so happy I got the Samsung Galaxy s6! I had the s3 before, and I was so excited to upgrade. I couldn't really decide between the s5 and the s6, but I ended up with the s6 and love it!!! I would recommend this phone to anybody! If you love android and samsung you'd love it. The camera is amazing! Super fast. Slim. The battery is long lasting but I feel like it goes down to 50% battery really fast, then slows down. And if you're constantly on it, it gets a bit hot (maybe cause I have a case, I don't know.) but other than that it is a really amazing phone! I wish it was water resistant like the s5 though.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nitpicks aside, you need this phone

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is as close to the perfect smartphone as a consumer can get. There are a few caveats here, but they certainly don't detract from the overall package. In fact, I'll start with the negatives, many of which are truly nitpicks. Let's start with the button arrangement; I don't really care either way for software or hardware navigation buttons, but every other Android device, hardware or software has the nav key arrangement as "BACK," "HOME," and "RECENTS." Samsung has "BACK" and "RECENTS" switched for some reason. The user will certainly get used to it, but there is a learning curve, and when you handle another persons non Samsung device, you will fumble a bit with the discrepancy. Also, I'm personally not a fan of brand logos on the front of a device, but that's a niggle. Other than these small issues, every other complaint sort of falls in the middle. The software experience is by no means bad, but I really wish Samsung would use a software skin closer to stock Android. Or basically, I wish it WAS stock Android, except for places where it actually mattered. What I mean is, I like that the camera software is proprietary to make the best of the devices incredible camera. I like the extra options for screen modes. But why spend the extra money and work on a separate dialer, calendar, calculator, etc. when Google already has a superior version baked into Android? Not to mention the icons for Samsung's apps look like something from a flip phone.
LUCKILY custom launchers and icon packs take care of a lot of this, and many of Google's apps are available in the Play Store. And that's not to say that Samsung's Touchwiz hasn't been toned down. As someone that has used stock Android Lollipop extensively, this version of Touchwiz isn't far off, and that's a great thing. I just wish they could tone it down even more. Google already makes the software, Samsung just needs to focus on a few proprietary apps and the amazing hardware they put out.
And they do put out some insanely amazing hardware. This phone is gorgeous. Simple as that. It sits in the hand nicely, feels premium and will catch the passerby's eye. The aluminum and glass construction is sturdy and attractive. The camera software is intuitive and helps the incredible camera included (front and back) take amazing pictures. The screen is out of this world. Better than any display I've ever seen. Set this bad boy on whatever mode suits you, I personally like the Basic mode for its true to life colors, but the other modes look amazing too, if a tad saturated. The speaker is clear and loud, I notice things in the apps I use that I've never heard before. While the battery life is middling, the fast charging feature is great. Like, I couldn't live without it after this. The fingerprint sensor basically negates a lockscreen in its accuracy. Simply put, this phone is a pleasure to use. Even with the nitpicks I do have, I would have to reccomend this phone. If you don't pick this, you're missing out on a very premium experience.

Battery Life Needs Work

I absolutely love this product with 2 exceptions...
1) I preferred the plastic to the gorilla glass because with the glass it feels far too fragile and frankly it makes it more slick leaving me feeling like it will just slip right out of my hands.
2) I would have expected the battery to be better. I owned my S3 for almost 3 years before the battery started needing multiple charges throughout the day. I haven't even had the S6 a month yet and on average I have to charge it a little bit twice a day to prevent it from dying while I am using it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: poor battery

Runs the lollipop version much smoother then the s5. great phone! Battery isn't too bad, I have to charge it twice per day though and I'm on my phone a lot. Speaker could be a bit louder.
