Right speaker stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many reviewers on here, the right speaker on mine stopped working after about a year. Really unfortunate because I used it often and really liked it. But without basic functionality it's a useless paper weight.

Big Letdown

I've had my HBS 700's for 2 years now. I love the sound, deep rich base and clarity. They are like wearing skull candy's that are bluetooth. I wear them so much I finally wore out the ear but wiring. So today I was excited to go get new headphones that fit my neck better with retractable buds. I had been wanting the HBS-850's for 2 months and today was the day. I bought them, connected them and turned them on. *** Talk about a let down. *** Sure it has clear treble, but NO BASS! I tried a second pair, same thing. I tried other models, same thing. It's almost like listening to mono. I adjusted the EQ on my phone, same thing. I adjusted the EQ on the headphones and I couldn't hardly tell a difference. What happened to this incredible product line???

Disappointed by the bad LG quality

I got this pair as I am a very athletic and active guy, that is a lot of sweat involved. Main feature was sweat resistance, as it turned out the sweat in the ear buds turned them useless after a couple of minutes. I waited for the second day and tried them again, battery was completely drained though it was fully recharged the previous day. I recharged it and tried it again left ear bud went completely dead, the device over heated around my neck and the battery was drained dead in less than 20 minutes. In conclusion AVOID THIS LG product...

Very Disappointed

I was given this as a gift. I have been through three sets of these because the right ear bud keeps failing. The sound quality starts out great, but after a few light uses the right side stops working. I can barely hear any thing out of that ear bud. I really like this idea and the fact that they seem very durable. But this problem with the right side going out is a real disappointment. I don't think I will replace these again. I will go with a completely different brand when I return them. Very nice looking, poor quality.

Poor Range and Too Small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unless you have a very thin neck it is not good for you. I have a larger neck and cannot use it to talk because of complaints of sounding muffled. If I walk more that 5 feet away from my phone it disconnects. I like the sound quality but hate the fact that you have to have a slim neck in order for it to be comfortable. I am very disappointed that I am now stuck with it and wasted money on it.

Cons:
Limited to bright orange as a color selection for now. The size is much smaller than the other Tone models, which is still comfortable but takes some getting used to. Fewer buttons = multiple functionality for each control which = more to memorize per button. Unable to fast forward and rewind, as with other models.

The price is fair, but considering that the sound quality of the Pro model in my opinion is just as good, it almost seems like the extra $50-60 mostly goes towards the retractable ear buds (more of a $20-30 feature in my opinion).
I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's a fan of the LG TONE. For those who had performance issues with theirs, I can only assume they either received defective headsets or that there were compatibility issues with their connected devices because despite my gripes, my headset works great. The issues I mentioned could've made a very good headset a great headset.

Worthless waste of money

I wear my phone on a holster on my belt. This set will not hold a connection. I have to put it in my shirt pocket if I want to use it. Good sound for music, but worthless as a phone blue tooth device.
