[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these less than 6 months ago. I am an avid runner and weight trainer so I use these 4-5 times a week. They were great in the beginning but now one ear phone is dead and even with my phone in my pocket the head phones loose connectivity. Don't waste your money on these headphones.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased in February and kind of disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this headset in confidence that it would last longer than expected. I had the LG 700 and 750. They both lasted a lengthy amount of time before I had to buy another one. Unfortunately, with the 850, this is my fourth device. It seems as if every couple of weeks I have to go to the store to have them replaced. It starts with the right earbud dying, then the left earbud losing volume then dying. I liked the concept of the retractable headsets, but I think that is the setback. I believe constantly retracting the ear buds is causing the wires to be compromised, and lose functionality. I confess that I did check reviews, and saw that those were issues people were having. Against my better judgement, I made the purchase. I had hoped it would not be my issue. I rated it 3 stars, because when it was good, it was good. Good quality of sound, and again, good concept on the retractables keeping the wires out of the way. Hope the ones I had exchanged for the 3rd time last longer. Sorry, I do not recommend.

Not Reliable -- Returning for Refund

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like LG products so I thought the reviews were exaggerated. Now I know better. The first time the right earbud got a little wet from sweat/rain it quit working. When it dried out, it worked fine. I bought this model because it is supposed to be water resistant. Obviously it's not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought headset 12/2/15. I'm about to be on my 4th pair. whichever earbud you use most goes out fast. Mic is poor quality, constantly being told I'm muffled. On a positive, sound quality from the earbuds is great when they work. I was excited because of the waterproof and sweatproof, but I've been very disappointed in the overall quality of the product
Pros: easy to use

Poor Design and Limited Bluetooth Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 3 of these and gave 2 away as presents for Christmas. The Microphone is set to close to the users neck and if you tilt your head while talking it will cause voice to muffle. I end up having to pull the device away from my neck when I am talking to prevent this. In one of the units the left earbud lost volume and I had to exchange it. The blue tooth cuts out frequently and does not have much range. Unfortunately I did not see the reviews that had the same issues that i do on this site before purchasing this product otherwise I would not have purchased.

Ear buds dead in less than a month

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these headphones about 4 weeks ago. After 2 weeks the right headphone died to near inaudible level. 2 weeks later, the left did the same thing. I'm a military and loved the design and Bluetooth capability for running. This is poor performance for the price you pay for the headphones. Will never buy another LG set of headphones again. Highly recommend staying away.

I just purchased these about 1 week ago, I have already replaced them once, the sound quality is very good, but when I use them to make phone calls the other side can't hear me. The speaker is poorly designed, I have used the LG line now for about two years, my last set was the Infinim (HBS900) which was a great set, but because I sweat so much they only lasted me about 3-4 months. When I heard about the HBS850 I bought them right away, But I can't use them because others can't hear me.
