The cable was used to connect an 8-port gauge input box to a small cpu which only had USB ports.
The cable hardware driver is easy to load,and takes only a few seconds to setup on the computer. The cable connected our hardware to CPU without a flaw.
The only issue we had with the cable was the threaded tabs on the RS-232 side had to be cut off to allow room to plug into the hardware. Easily taken care of though.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Reliable, Fast

Just be sure the jack screws are what you want

I have the same problem as others where the female jack screws interfere with female jack screws on my mating bulkhead connector. Since they are not screwed in, but peened in place and completely over-molded, I cannot remove them without destroying the housing. So this is just a warning to be sure that the mechanical configuration is exactly what you need or at least something that you can adapt to. Everything else is good. The Windows driver installs fine on Windows 10 and the cable is high quality.
