I have had this side crock pot since 2006. It works great but I broke the handle on the lid. How can a get a replacement handle so I can fix it before my wife finds out?

Missing information about power rating

I bought the Corckpot Classic $.5 QT Slowcooker.
Wanted to know about the power consumption of the heating element.
Surprised that this important information is not available both on the package or the Owners guide..
Please let me know the power rating,
Response from crock-pot.comBy Crock-PotConsumer CareNovember 24, 2020
Hey there, Sajid! Thanks for reaching out to us. We will be more than happy to answer your question. Slow cookers use 120 volts AC which range from 0.6 amps to 2 amps and consume electricity that ranges from 70 watts (low temperature) to 250 watts (high temperature). We hope this information helps. Thank you and please stay safe.

Not advertised size

We bought this for a 4.5 quart crock pot, but the first time I used it, I couldn't fit my ingredients in it! When I measured its capacity I found when filled to the brim it holds 3 quarts, 2.5 cups. That's a half cup less than a full quart small! I asked a question about that in the questions section below and was told the glaze might reduce the capacity somewhat. I sincerely doubt there are 3.5 cups of glaze on the inside of the stoneware! I guess like everything else, the company shrinks the product and hopes consumers won't notice.

NOT 4.5 Quarts
on March 29, 2022

Does NOT hold 4.5 quarts. Barely holds 4 quarts right up to the rim. Why are you claiming that it holds 4.5 quarts when it does not.
Response from crock-pot.comBy CrockPot Consumer Care TeamMarch 30, 2022
Thank you for taking the time to give a review, Homecook. Your feedback is important to us. Our stoneware capacity is based on the industry standard for measuring capacity in slow cookers. The item is hand-molded and then covered in a glaze, which may reduce the overall capacity somewhat. If there's anything we can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to contact us at 1-800-323-9519. We're here for you Monday to Friday from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm EST.

Works Great!

I had this for a year now, only used it occasionally (maybe 6x) and works great! My only issue is that the labels on the switch including the brand name Crock Pot are coming off every time I clean even just with a wet towel and pretty soon, I will not be able to tell which one is High, Medium, Low or Warm. It works great, but need to upgrade the markings.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
