I’m really happy with my Crock-Pot! The durability is impressive — I’ve been using it for over a year and it still works like new. The design is sleek and looks great on my kitchen counter. It offers excellent temperature control, and everything comes out perfectly cooked. The capacity is just right for family meals, with plenty of leftovers. And the best part — the cleaning ease! The inner pot is super easy to clean, and nothing sticks. A true lifesaver for busy days!

Crockpot, tried, tested, trustworthy. So simplistic to use, with a good recipe and practice, cooking with a Crockpot is almost fool proof. I love being able to prep my ingredients, pop them all in the pot, set the temp and leave the crockpot to do its thing, while I get on with mine. From soups, pudding, stews, cakes, stews, joints of meats, even while birds, the options are endless and the results are spectacular; my personal faves are homage fudge, indulgent slow cooked stews and of course deliciously moist meats such as gammon joints and fall from the bones chicken. No fuss, no frills, all the satisfaction!

So well made! I’ve literally had this same model for years with no issues. It cooks really well and holds a perfect temp every time. The insert is dishwasher safe so it’s really easy to clean. Highly recommend!

It works perfectly and has lasted me a long time! It’s the simplest easy dinner hack. Throw a few things in, leave for work, and come home to a delicious meal! Cleaning it is straight forward, I just let it soak with some soap and water overnight and rinse it out in the morning.

Heats the sides of ceramic bowl but not the bottom

After about six months my spouse and I have stopped using our model SCR450-H-BR (marked on the bottom of the heating base) because it didn't give us the flexibility we were hoping for. We learned from our first few trials and then re-reading the manual carefully that this model is designed to work best when filled 1/2 way to 3/4 way full (2-3 qts by volume). The manual doesn't say what substance to fill to this level, but I would say it means full of liquid. Since the heating elements are not below the stoneware bowl -- they seem to be positioned around the sides of the ceramic bowl about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up -- a recipe that only sits in the bottom 1/3rd of the bowl does not transfer heat evenly. As a result we didn't get good results with recipes that start out somewhat dry but make more juice as they cook like some stews and roasts. We also didn't get good results with recipes having liquid levels smaller than about 2 qts. For example, a pot roast 2" thick should be covered with about another 2" of liquid to meet the 1/2 to 3/4 depth (the stoneware bowl is 5" deep). I'm not sure of the advantage of designing this model with the heating elements up so high, but this may be something that works well for others but not for us. I just think it's good to be aware for what you think you'll use it for. I'll be on the lookout for the placement of the heating elements in my next slow-cooker purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A must have! Perfect for days when you don’t feel like cooking. You can slow cook anything! Easy clean up. You can turn the temp higher or lower. It’s very durable! Long lasting.

It’s as easy to use as a microwave dinner and brings a sense of delicious nostalgia into my home. I can set the pot and run errands without worry! My mother could feed a family of six out of one crock pot (barring a side or two) and my wife and I use it to portion for just the two of us. Very simple and versatile!
