Very quiet!!

I got this model in my new home purchase and I love it> It is very quiet and I love the nice deep top rack that fits my tall glasses very well. I also love the two choices for the silverware location!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could work better

Residue left often on dishes, takes a while to dry. I made sure to use the premium detergent and rinse aid, but the issue persist. The machine is also a little louder than usual.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Performance

This model does not seem to distribute soap properly; there is sometimes residue in the dispenser or still on inside of the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The builder of my home put this dishwasher in my house, and it is terrible. The first time I used it, I rinsed most of the dishes, used a dishwasher liquid pod, used a finishing rinse liquid, and set it on "Normal". There was still food left on some of my dishes along with terrible water spots. The instructions say to use the dishwasher pods, but the project manager told me to only use liquid. He also said I had to put the settings on "Heavy", "Boost" and "Heated Dry". I would say that negates anything "Energy Efficient" about this machine. After I did that, the dishes did come out better, but they are still not completely clean. My parents had a dishwasher back in the 70's that was pretty bad because they couldn't afford to have it fixed, and I think this one is just as bad or worse. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I would not recommend this machine to anybody unless I was out to get them for some reason. I may get a water softener and see if that helps, but I am not very optimistic, so I see myself buying a new machine in the future. My neighbors also complained about this machine, do it isn't just me. I have other GE appliances that are fine, so I am not criticizing GE as a whole. I usually have good luck with their appliances.

Love how quiet this dishwasher is.

I have only had this dishwasher for a week, but I love it. It looks great and is so quite. The only problem is where the buttons are situated on the machine. I have a tendency to accidently turn it on when I am opening the door.
