Nice looking but needs work

This is the second GE dishwasher I've had, same model. The first one I chose, this one came with the house. I would not, however, chosen it myself. The cycles are forever long and the silverware has to be positioned perfectly so the soap dispenser can function properly. It's a terrible design. My old GE appliance from 2006 was SO much better. Didn't look as fancy but was designed well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally, clean, dry dishes!

Been using this model for several months now and can't complain about anything. I find that the cycle runs long enough to really get dishes clean and when it's over they are dry. No more towel drying for me!

Not what I expected.

Purchased this DW along with a new refrigerator, so they would match. My old one was still working, but was 15 years old. I purchased it at local Appliance Store and not a "big box" store due to their knowledge of the products they sell and service.
I do not like this dishwasher. It takes an hour and a half to do a load on "normal" setting, I have to pre-rinse so the dishes will actually come out clean! It's loud and has minimal settings.
I would have returned it, but after the hassle of installing it ... it's staying. It definetly is NOT what I expected for the amount of money I paid for it. Wish I would have kept my old one.

Interior is plastic

This dishwasher came with the house. The interior is plastic which I don't like, but it cleans the dishes just fine

Its been hardly 3 months since we started using the dishwasher and there are times at the dishwashing liquid does not dispense. At times, it turns on without anyone even being around it.

I am very disappointed in this dishwasher. The was cycle takes over an hour and dishes come out wet.
