Average features, a bit noisier than preferred

GE appliances came with our new home. Even though we 'upgraded' appliances, feel the dishwasher is 'builders grade'. The silverware holder was mounted on the door but things kept catching so moved it to bottom tray. All said though, the dishwasher does an excellent job cleaning dishes and that's most important.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Detergent isn't always released

If you stack utensils in the front of the unit, they sometimes keep the detergent container from being able to pop up and out, which means you'll be running the dishwasher twice. not a good design IMO

Quiet and economical

This appliance was an option from my builder for my new home. I have not seen any increase in utilities since using this appliance. I would rarely in the past use the dishwasher due to noise and energy consumption. I use this appliance daily and could not be happier.

This dishwasher is builder grade and was installed already in our house. It's okay. No delay feature and very loud.

We purchased our GE dishwasher about 2 months ago. It is surprisingly quiet and a lot easier to use than our old dishwasher. The only thing NOT on this new unit is what cycle the washer is on during running time. Sometimes you have a few pieces of dinner ware that you could add to the washer but it does not indicate what cycle it is on.
